A static voltage stability index based on P-V curve for the medium-voltage distribution network with distributed PV

Abstract With the rapid increase of distributed photovoltaic (DPV) generations, static voltage stability (SVS) distribution network (DN) is faced with more and challenges. Considering characteristics DPV structure, an appropriate index (SVSI) in medium-voltage DN studied this paper. In terms limitation traditional SVSI that only reflects load change, based on P-V curve, a novel change rate - (M-index) proposed. The M-index considers impacts double changes power output level. model classic 33-node source established to investigate proposed M-index. By changing penetration percentage access point, comparing existing Load-index, validity superiority verified. Comparing SVSI, propitious evaluate SVS for DPV.
